It took me a long time to find a good therapist, but it is psilsboe. I don't think any of them are in it for the money most don't make very much unless they are in private practice or a psychiatrist (an actual doctor who can prescribe drugs).It does help to talk to someone who is not your friend or a member of your family. People who love you want you to be happy, but sometimes they don't give the best advice because they are distracted with their own lives or they don't want you to feel bad. One piece of advice my good therapist gave me is that if any therapist ever tells me I'm done or that I don't need therapy but I still don't feel good, that I need to find another therapist. I don't agree at all. The people who tell you this have been seneig the wrong therapist.Therapists are like doctors, teachers, or anyone else. Some are good, some are bad. The trick is to find the good ones.A god therapist will offer you insight that you probably didn't see yourself. They'll help you develop ways to cope, and grow.I'm seneig a good therapist at the moment. I've just started, and I already feel like it's helping a lot. I also have money problems, and my therapist has been very accommodating with me. His exact words were We can figure it out, because I don't really need the money that bad. The best thing to do is shop around. Don't go to the first guy with a PhD on his wall. Meet with them, talk to them, and see if they click with you, and if they seem like they know what they're doing.I'd recommend you give it a shot. You never know how much it could help you.
